About Hannah

Screenwriter & Filmmaker Based out of Rhode Island

I am a writer, director, and producer based out of Rhode Island. With a background in clinical psychology and wilderness guiding, I am passionate about storytelling that instills hope through themes of self exploration, family dynamics, our relationships to the natural world, and overcoming adversity.

In addition to writing and creating my own narrative films, I love to support other filmmakers with turning their vision into a reality through work as a writer, director, 1st AD, producer, or production manager. Since moving back to Rhode Island in 2021, I eagerly joined Women in Film and Video New England, where I served on the board as the RI State Co-Chair, and currently serve as an ambassador. After living in Seattle and various other spots around the U.S. for 12+ years, I’m excited to be back to call this vibrant little state my home, and to help grow the film industry here in RI.

When I’m not working on film projects, you’ll find me with my husband and two children — adventuring, gardening, or cozied up by a fire reading stories. I am most in my element out in nature — surfing, swimming, cold plunging, trail running, biking, gardening, skiing, backpacking, and canoeing — and love introducing these joys to my young children.
