In the near-distant future, Avery, a virtual reality conservationist, begins to have a recurring dream that leads her to question her isolated community. After processing with her psychologist, Avery re-visits a familiar VR landscape where she receives a visceral message that upends reality as she knows it, unlocking clues to her past that she can no longer ignore.
